Log into your WordPress dashboard for which you want to change the favicon.
Now navigate to “Appearance” and select “Customize”
Next, head to the “Site Identity” section.
Here you can add a site title, tagline, logo, and site icon. To change the favicon, navigate to the site icon, and click “Change image“.
Now upload the image or choose it from the WordPress media library that you want to use as a favicon for your site. Keep in mind that the preferred dimension for a favicon is 512 x 512 pixels in WordPress.
Now you will see a preview of your favicon which shows you how it will look in the browser or app. In case, you want to cut any part from your favicon you can choose crop image otherwise skip cropping.
